Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society operates three clinics; Mahwalala in Hhohho region, Silele in Shiselweni region, and Sigombeni in Manzini region. Our Sigombeni Clinic is the largest clinic established by our organization.
Sigombeni Clinic is one of the largest public clinics in the country and has a rich history in healthcare provision. In 2006, His Majesty King Mswati III opened the ART wing of the clinic, which was the first clinic in Eswatini to provide HIV/AIDS services.
The clinic operates across 5 levels of care:
Clinic level: Where patients can receive consultations, diagnoses, and treatment for a wide range of health conditions.
Community level: We conduct health outreach programs to provide healthcare services to communities beyond the clinic walls.
Household level: Our healthcare workers visit households to provide essential health services, such as antenatal care and postnatal care.
School level: We work with schools to promote health and wellness among students and provide first aid training.
Youth level: We provide specialized services and training for young people on sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and other health issues they might face.
